Kenali Ciri-ciri Auction atau Lelang Palsu di Instagram

Topik kali ini sedikit berbeda dari pembahasan saya biasanya, yaitu produk keuangan. Pada kesempatan kali ini saya ingin membagikan cara membedakan auction/lelang yang penipu maupun yang asli di Instagram. Berdasarkan dari pengalaman pribadi yang sudah merasakan penipuan maupun auction/lelang asli. Tulisan ini bukan untuk menjatuhkan pihak tertentu atau endorse pihak tertentu, murni berbagi informasi saja supaya tidak banyak korban. Apalagi, saya terkejut belum ada blogger lain yang mengedukasi tentang hal ini. Sehingga sayapun kekurangan referensi dan hanya bergantung pada pengalaman pribadi.

Penting! Tulisan ini hanya membantu mengidentifikasi apakah si akun penyelenggara auction/lelang ini asli atau penipu, namun perihal barang yang dilelang itu asli atau tidak, mustahil untuk bisa diidentifikasi, karena kita tidak lihat langsung barangnya, dan penyelenggara lelang sendiri biasanya tidak lihat langsung barangnya (mereka hanya perantara antara kita dan si pemilik barang)

Auction/lelang online, apalagi yang dilakukan di media sosial, memang merupakan kegiatan transaksi yang high risk high return, sesuai prinsip alam dalam investasi. KIta bisa mendapatkan harga yang tidak masuk akal murahnya untuk barang mewah, namun berisiko ditipu karena melakukan transaksi secara online tanpa perantara. Hal ini jelas berisiko tinggi dibanding transaksi marketplace yang diperantarai dan dananya ditahan pihak ketiga.

Ciri Pertama: Nomor rekening pembayaran tidak dipajang di profile/highlights

Auction/lelang asli yang legit memajang nomor rekening pembayaran di profile/highlights, karena memang tidak ada alasan kuat bagi mereka untuk gonta ganti rekening. Sebaliknya, auction/lelang palsu cenderung menggunakan banyak rekening agar kegiatan penipuan mereka sulit dilacak. Auction/lelang palsu hanya menginformasikan nomor rekening ketika anda sudah menang bid, dan biasanya rekening yang digunakan berbeda dari waktu ke waktu. Auction/lelang palsu juga menggunakan testimoni palsu, dimana nomor rekening tujuan hasil screenshot pemenang bidder biasanya ditutupi/disensor.

Ciri kedua: auction/lelang palsu tidak menyediakan channel titip jualan

Penyelenggara auction/lelang mempertemukan pihak yang ingin menjual barang dengan pihak yang ingin membeli barang. Kalau tidak ada yang mau nitip jual, ya tidak ada barang yang bisa dilelang. Oleh karena itu, lelang asli pasti membuka kesempatan untuk menghubungi mereka bila kita mau berpartisipasi menjadi pemilik barang. Selain itu, mereka sudah pasti menerapkan aturan titip jual sedari awal, misalnya biaya yang dikenakan, diperkenankan bidding sendiri atau tidak, boleh beli langsung atau tidak, dan sebagainya.

Berikut saya sertakan contoh halaman bidding asli yang menyediakan channel untuk penitip barang

Ciri ketiga: testimoni tidak menyebutkan nama dan nomor rekening

Mirip dengan point pertama yang dibahas diatas, untuk auction/lelang asli tidak sungkan memajang nomor rekening pembayaran di profil maupun testimoni mereka, karena semuanya bukti asli yang tidak dimanipulasi. Sebaliknya, auction/lelang palsu akan men sensor nomor rekening tujuan, karena testimoninya cenderung palsu (beli gambar, ambil punya auction lain, editan, dan lain-lain). Selain itu, nomor rekening mereka juga kerap berganti sehingga tidak bisa digunakan sebagai bahan testimoni.

Ciri keempat: bid dimulai dari nominal tinggi

Penyelenggara auction/bid memang berhak menentukan nominal awal/terendah untuk suatu barang. Kriteria keempat ini kurang akurat dibandingkan kriteria lainnya, jadi jangan dijadikan patokan utama.

Auction asli biasanya menggunakan harga starting rendah atau bahkan 0 rupiah (gratis), karena:

  1. Sekalipun benar-benar di bid dengan harga 0 rupiah, penyelenggara auction tetap mendapatkan fee yang bersifat flat
  2. Consignee/pemilik barang biasanya sudah standby untuk melakukan bidding sendiri (self-bid) bila harga finalnya terlalu rendah untuk ‘dilepas’
  3. Auction asli sudah memiliki basis bidder tersendiri, dan mengetahui jelas bahwa tidak akan ada yang rela melepas suatu listing dengan harga gratis (maksudnya, pasti ada follower yang bidding diatas 0 rupiah, hanya demi mengganggu bidder yang berani pasang harga 0 rupiah)

Sedangkan auction palsu sudah jelas menetapkan starting bid yang cukup tinggi, karena:

  1. Barang mereka fiktif, tidak ada consignee asli, jadi mereka harus mengenakan biaya admin ke siapa kalau barangnya dijual gratis?
  2. Start bid tinggi mempermudah modus operandi penipuan mereka, karena sekali ada korban, mereka langsung dapat uang lumayan besar
  3. Auction palsu tidak punya basis bidder yang benar-benar nge bid, jadi mereka harus bayar akun palsu untuk pura-pura nge bid. Apabila bidding sedikit atau malah tidak ada, maka nominal penipuannya akan jadi kecil sekali.

Ciri kelima: meminta biaya admin tambahan setelah sudah membayar harga bidding

Ini adalah ciri-ciri paling penting dan secara langsung mengkonfirmasi apakah suatu auction/lelang itu asli atau palsu. Apabila si auction/lelang menagih anda nominal bidding langsung dijumlahkan dengan biaya admin dan minta 1x transfer, maka kemungkinan besar auction/lelang tersebut asli. Anda juga boleh mengkonfirmasi perhitungan biaya admin yang mereka kenakan.

Tapi apabila si auction/lelang itu meminta biaya admin SETELAH anda sudah melakukan pembayaran nominal bidding, maka dijamin 100% lelang/auction tersebut adalah penipu. Apabila sudah terjadi seperti itu, saran saya relakan saja uang anda yang sudah terlanjur di transfer, karena lebih baik kehilangan uang tersebut daripada kehilangan uang lebih banyak lagi.

Demikian ciri-ciri auction/lelang palsu yang bisa saya bagikan. Satu lagi, pastikan untuk selalu menggunakan website seperti kredibel atau cekrekening untuk mengecek nomor rekening tujuan pembayaran yang diberikan oleh pihak auction/lelang. Apabila ada laporan penipuan pada nomor rekening tersebut, maka lebih baik tidak usah melanjutkan pembayaran
